Role overview A senior engineer is needed to take full ownership of features inside a desktop application that coordinates autonomous coding agents and integrates a team's broader development toolchain. The work spans UI, services, and backend layers, with a strong emphasis on speed, polish, and end-to-end delivery. Projects typically move from concept to production in one to four weeks, so the right person is comfortable shaping direction alongside product and engineering peers rather than waiting for fully formed specs.

Responsibilities - Design, build, test, and ship features end to end across the desktop UI, Node-based services, and Go backend components. - Pair directly with product and other engineering teams on problems that lack obvious textbook answers. - Diagnose performance regressions in the application and supporting services using profiling, tracing, and similar diagnostic tooling. - Contribute to architecture decisions that span local execution, remote sessions, and integration with version-control workflows. - Hold a high bar for UX responsiveness, code quality, and observability in a user-facing desktop environment.

Requirements - A demonstrated record of personally driving a complex product feature from idea through launch, with concrete examples to share. - Full-stack proficiency in TypeScript for the product layer (Electron and React UI plus Node services) and Go for backend services, with depth in at least one and willingness to grow in the other. - Strong debugging and performance instincts, with the ability to track down bottlenecks using query profiles, flame graphs, or comparable tooling. - Genuine care for UX, speed, and visual polish, including the confidence to push back when an interaction feels wrong. - Comfort operating with autonomy in a fast-moving, small-team setting.

Nice to have - Experience shipping Electron applications at scale, including updates, code signing, and multi-platform builds. - Familiarity with container orchestration internals or operating large model workloads on cluster infrastructure. - Personal projects involving AI workflows, agents, or custom coding harnesses built for fun.
