Full-Stack Engineer — Mobile (React Native)

Role overview Own mobile product development from implementation through release, building applications for drivers on iOS and Android. The work centers on dependable offline-first workflows for trips, delivery confirmation, and location tracking, while also covering mobile infrastructure, supporting backend services, and occasional web product work.

Responsibilities - Build and ship a React Native driver app for both iOS and Android, including trip workflows that can operate offline. - Implement delivery confirmation using camera capture and signatures, plus background GPS tracking designed to run through a full shift and while the screen is locked. - Set up and operate the app release process, including beta distribution, store consoles, signing, push notification credentials, and store submissions. - Design offline synchronization with durable queues, safe retries, and clear handling of conflicts between device and server data. - Develop warehouse scanning features and, as demand arises, a customer tracking app. - Build supporting backend capabilities such as sync endpoints, conflict handling, and push triggers; also contribute to the React web product when mobile work allows.

Requirements - A mobile app you personally shipped through review to both the Apple App Store and Google Play, with a live product that can be reviewed. - Strong React Native and TypeScript skills. - Practical experience with offline-first mobile patterns, including local data storage, queued writes, and synchronization conflicts. - Working knowledge of push notifications on iOS and Android, including APNs credentials. - Comfort contributing to backend code, ideally with Python and FastAPI or transferable experience with a comparable framework. - Ability to work independently and carry tasks through to completion.
