Role overview
A 100% remote contractor role for a Cloud Data Architect to shape scalable data architectures on Google Cloud as part of an international analytics program. The position focuses on data modeling, governance, and BigQuery-centered design at enterprise scale.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, cloud-native data architectures on Google Cloud - Define data models, architectural standards, and governance practices across the platform - Architect and optimize BigQuery solutions for performance, security, and cost efficiency - Ensure data quality, security, and compliance throughout the data lifecycle - Collaborate closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate needs into architecture
Requirements
- Strong experience with GCP, BigQuery, and cloud data architecture patterns - Background in data modeling, data warehousing, SQL, and data governance - Familiarity with AI tools such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar offerings - University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field - Excellent English communication skills
