About this role

Role overview A consulting team modernizing how federal agencies deliver software is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to build secure, scalable, mission-driven solutions. The role spans applications, integrations, cloud environments, APIs, and enterprise systems, partnering closely with engineering, product, infrastructure, and delivery teams. Applicants must be US citizens eligible to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and maintain end-to-end solutions across applications, integrations, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise platforms. - Translate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions. - Collaborate with engineering, DevSecOps, infrastructure, and product teams on solution design, code reviews, and architecture decisions. - Build backend services with Java, Spring Boot, and Ruby on Rails, and frontend applications with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. - Develop APIs, integrations, and data flows using REST, GraphQL, Kafka, SQL, Python, and Databricks. - Write automated tests with JUnit, Jest, and Cypress, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deploy on AWS, and apply secure coding best practices.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - At least five years of professional experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or solutions architecture roles. - Strong experience designing enterprise application architectures and scalable distributed systems. - Deep hands-on experience with Java, Groovy, Spring Boot, OpenJDK, GraphQL, REST APIs, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. - Strong frontend architecture experience with Angular, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript. - Solid understanding of application integration, API design, microservices, event-driven architecture, and enterprise solution patterns, plus AWS experience. - Familiarity with DevSecOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, secure application architecture, and API security. - Strong documentation, architecture communication, and stakeholder leadership skills. - US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have - DevOps experience with CI/CD, containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, serverless architectures, or platform engineering. - Prior experience supporting federal government agencies.
