Senior Software Developer

Role overview This position focuses on building and operating AI agents that power live financial products across underwriting, capital, compliance, risk, and support functions. It is a senior engineering role centered on production-grade agentic systems where reliability, correctness, and business impact matter. The work spans the full lifecycle of these agents, from design through deployment and ongoing operation within real financial workflows.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and ship AI agent systems that handle live financial processes such as underwriting, capital allocation, compliance checks, risk assessment, and operational support. - Operate and maintain the agents in production, ensuring they remain reliable, observable, and aligned with business requirements. - Collaborate with stakeholders across the financial product areas to translate domain needs into agent capabilities and behaviors. - Implement safeguards, evaluations, and monitoring so that agent outputs meet the standards expected of real financial software. - Iterate on agent architectures and integrations as the underlying financial products and regulatory expectations evolve.

Requirements - Senior-level experience as a software developer building and operating production systems. - Hands-on work with AI agents or applied LLM systems, including the practical challenges of running them reliably. - Strong engineering fundamentals in areas such as APIs, data pipelines, and service operations. - Comfort working in a domain where accuracy, auditability, and risk controls are first-class concerns. - Ability to reason about complex financial workflows and shape agent behavior to fit them.

Nice to have - Prior exposure to financial services areas such as underwriting, capital, compliance, or risk management. - Experience building evaluation, guardrail, or observability tooling for AI-driven systems.
