Role overview
Lead development of polished, high-performance iOS features for a social AI product centered on creative interactions. The work spans personalized feeds, custom interfaces, AI-enabled experiences, and real-time audio and video capabilities, with close collaboration across product, design, and quality teams.
Responsibilities - Lead implementation of new AI and media-focused features for the iOS application. - Build and optimize audio and video pipelines, real-time media effects, and AI-powered visual features. - Develop custom interfaces, animations, and graphics using iOS frameworks such as UIKit, AVFoundation, Combine, and Core Animation. - Contribute to architecture discussions and help maintain application quality. - Collaborate with product, design, and QA partners to deliver polished, scalable features. - Own features from implementation through delivery as part of a small team serving a large user base.
Requirements - At least eight years of iOS application development experience, or equivalent education. - Fluency in Swift, UIKit, and Objective-C. - Ability to turn product, UX, and UI requirements into working code. - Skill in evaluating engineering options and explaining trade-offs to technical and non-technical teammates. - Ability to build reusable, modular components and attention to visual detail, motion, and animation. - Familiarity with Figma for interpreting spacing and sizing; exporting icons and working with variables is a plus.
Nice to have - Experience with video editing, real-time media effects, or AI-driven media features.
