Job details
About this role
Role overview Design a business travel platform that helps coordinators arrange and manage frequent trips for workers in maritime, aviation, and energy settings. The focus is practical product UX: understand the coordinator’s task, reduce effort, and give the team clear, testable flows to build.
Responsibilities - Investigate users’ goals and pain points, and help sharpen product problems before design begins. - Map complete task flows, covering empty states, errors, and failure paths as well as the ideal journey. - Create clickable prototypes quickly, presenting multiple approaches and explaining their trade-offs. - Use existing design-system components in prototypes so engineers can implement them with minimal translation. - Review built features, explain design decisions, and refine details before release. - Keep screens clear and precise, adding motion or transitions when they improve the experience.
Requirements - At least three years designing B2B or SaaS products that reached real users. - A portfolio showing end-to-end flows, edge cases, and the reasoning behind design choices. - Ability to explain decisions in terms of user goals and adapt when evidence points elsewhere. - Experience using AI design tools such as Claude Design, Figma Make, or similar, and skill in reviewing and correcting their output. - Ability to work within an established design system and judge when a new component is warranted.
Nice to have - Micro-animation or illustration skills.
Benefits and work setup - Remote work is available in Europe and nearby regions, with working hours roughly within three hours of Central European Time. This opening is unavailable to people residing in the Netherlands. - Compensation is described as competitive; details are shared during the hiring process.
