Localization and Payment Tester

Role overview This remote contractor assignment involves testing mobile apps for localization quality and payment reliability in Chile. You will examine app journeys on both iOS and Android, assess comparable products, and produce evidence and reports to help identify problems. The work is 16 hours per week, arranged as two eight-hour days, and is paid hourly.

Responsibilities - Test localized app journeys on iOS and Android, including download, registration, core features, payments, network conditions, and device compatibility. - Validate international payment processing, transaction visibility, and cancellation flows. - Compare competing apps for functionality, performance, and usability. - Record relevant screens, document bugs, and compile test reports.

Requirements - Experience testing localization, payments, and competing products on both iOS and Android. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good communication. - Proficient English; native-level English is preferred. - Must be based in Chile and have a computer plus iOS and Android devices. - Must complete identity verification and sign a confidentiality agreement before testing. - Must be able to make small-value test transactions using a personal bank or payment account; costs are reimbursed.
