Product Quality Analyst II (Remote)

Role overview Test web applications, APIs, and batch processes to help ensure they meet business needs and work reliably for users. The role combines hands-on manual and automated testing with clear defect reporting and close collaboration with engineering and business partners.

Responsibilities - Create and run test cases for web, API, and batch functionality, covering requirements of varying complexity. - Record test cases and results in a test management system with enough detail for others to follow. - Identify, document, and track defects through resolution. - Work with software engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify expected behavior and potential impacts. - Apply quality assurance methods throughout the software development lifecycle and suggest improvements to product quality.

Requirements - A degree in computer science, management information systems, computer engineering, or a related area, or equivalent experience. - At least four years of experience in manual or automated software testing. - Familiarity with quality assurance methods and the software development lifecycle. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ask questions that uncover edge cases. - Knowledge of the Gherkin test format.

Nice to have - Exposure to user interface development, billing or payroll features, or data import and export files.

Benefits and work setup The position is remote and includes eligibility for a quarterly bonus plan. The listed annual pay range is $65,000–$99,000, depending on qualifications and other factors. A benefits package is available for eligible employees.
