Product Quality Analyst I (Remote)

Role overview Test web applications, APIs, and batch applications to check that they meet business requirements and work reliably. You will create and run test cases, report defects with useful detail, and collaborate with engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities - Create test cases for applications, APIs, and batch processes across different levels of complexity. - Execute manual tests and occasional automated tests, recording results in a test case management system. - Investigate unexpected behavior, identify defects, and provide clear information to support diagnosis and resolution. - Monitor defect tracking and help manage bugs through to resolution. - Work with software engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to support product quality. - Apply quality assurance practices across the development lifecycle and suggest improvements to the user experience.

Requirements - At least one year of manual or automated software testing experience. - Knowledge of quality assurance methods and the software development lifecycle. - Familiarity with Gherkin test format. - Motivation, initiative, creative problem-solving, and willingness to keep current with testing practices.

Nice to have - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, computer engineering, or a related field. - Exposure to user interface development, billing or payroll modules, or data import and export files.

Benefits and work setup - Remote position. - Annual pay range of $45,000–$75,000, with eligibility for a quarterly incentive plan.
