Senior AI Security Engineer

Role overview Build a security layer for requests sent to large language models and the responses they return. Working with a small AI team, you’ll turn emerging attack methods into real-time protections that can run across a global edge network while keeping latency, false positives, and operating cost under control.

Responsibilities - Define useful protections for AI systems and agents based on emerging threats. - Investigate how systems can be attacked and develop ways to detect or block those attacks. - Build and deploy real-time detection that adds little noticeable delay to protected applications. - Own work end to end, from experiments and architecture through production operation. - Balance detection accuracy, false positives, latency, cost, and customer experience. - Extend proven approaches across the edge network.

Requirements - At least seven years of experience building and architecting production software, including hands-on Python work. - Practical experience with LLMs and agents, including model APIs, tool or function calling, context handling, guardrails, and evaluation. - Strong knowledge of LLM security threats such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, data leakage, tool abuse, or agent vulnerabilities. - Hands-on machine learning experience, including building or integrating models for classification or anomaly detection.
