Lead Product Engineer (Developer Platform)

Role overview Own the product experience that brings several edge compute services together into a coherent developer platform. You’ll lead a small engineering team, shape the product from discovery through iteration, and contribute directly in the codebase; product decisions and implementation are both part of the job.

Responsibilities - Design shared platform concepts such as projects, deployment environments, secrets, and logs. - Make it straightforward for developers to deploy, configure, connect, and troubleshoot workloads across container, scripting, and database services. - Set product priorities by gathering developer insight and translating it into a clear roadmap. - Identify inconsistencies between services and resolve decisions that would fragment the developer experience. - Work alongside engineers on solutions, contributing code as team needs require. - Lead and support a small team while balancing product judgment with technical direction.

Requirements - Strong product judgment and technical depth, with the ability to own both discovery and delivery. - Experience building software hands-on and shaping solutions in a codebase with engineers. - Ability to understand developer needs and turn them into clear priorities and usable platform capabilities. - Readiness to lead a small team while remaining close to implementation and product details.
