About this role
Role overview Build the connection layer that moves customer and lead context reliably across CRM, messaging, marketing, calendar, and workflow products. This hands-on engineering role combines API integration work with practical problem solving: translating real customer processes and imperfect external systems into dependable product behavior.
Responsibilities - Build and maintain integrations with CRM, communications, marketing, calendar, and workflow platforms. - Develop production-ready API clients, webhook handlers, and authentication flows. - Add retries, monitoring, and observability to help integrations withstand failures. - Model customer workflows and define predictable data synchronization behavior. - Work with product, support, and customers to investigate edge cases and improve the integration experience. - Create reusable implementation patterns, tests, documentation, and internal tools.
Requirements - 2–8 years of production software or integration experience, or equivalent hands-on experience. - Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills and familiarity with HTTP, REST, JSON, and webhooks. - Practical understanding of authentication, rate limits, idempotency, queues, retries, and failure handling. - Ability to investigate unclear issues and communicate with technical and nontechnical colleagues. - Care for maintainable code, useful logging, and tests that protect customer workflows.
Nice to have - Exposure to cloud and container environments such as AWS, DigitalOcean, or Docker, and to Java or Python alongside TypeScript. - Experience using coding assistants as part of implementation and testing workflows.
