About the role
This Engagement Lead owns the client relationship at the delivery level and pulls the engagement toward real business outcomes. The role turns client leadership needs into a prioritized, well-defined scope that the delivery team can execute. It sits between the CIO's office and the Snowflake and Power BI work as a strategic partner, rather than a pass-through for tickets.
Information security responsibilities
• Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols. • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how they impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards such as GDPR and CCPA. • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information.
Role and responsibilities
• Define the use cases: work with client stakeholders to uncover the decisions each report needs to drive and lock down the use case before anything reaches the backlog. • Prioritize by business value: sequence the 13+ dashboards and the underlying data remediation work. • Write clear, testable business requirements. Each dashboard should have a named owner, a defined purpose, a descriptive title, and a consistent layout. • Own quality end to end and catch broken reports immediately. • Engage the CIO and business stakeholders directly. • Partner day to day with the Snowflake remediation and Power BI teams, holding the line on scope and standards.
Preferred qualifications
• Experience leading enterprise data warehouse engagements end to end, ideally with Snowflake and Power BI as the reporting layer. • Strong requirements and use-case thinking, beyond project coordination. • Ability to work with demanding senior clients at CIO, CFO, and COO level and build trust quickly. • Willingness to make and defend priority decisions under pressure. • Strong data quality instincts, including identifying UTM, integration, and pipeline issues before they become problems.
