About this role
Role overview Build and maintain scalable software on the NetSuite platform, taking solutions from architecture through deployment. The work centres on SuiteScript development, reusable engineering patterns, and reliable integrations and automations.
Responsibilities - Design script architecture, data models, integrations, and automation for NetSuite solutions. - Develop SuiteScript 2.1 across event-driven, scheduled, batch-processing, UI, and REST-based script types. - Create shared libraries and modular frameworks with clear separation between services, models, and utilities. - Develop and tune SuiteQL queries and saved searches for operational reporting. - Configure custom records, fields, and segments to support sound data models. - Deliver maintainable, tested code through deployment and ongoing improvement.
Requirements - Mid-level experience, typically 3–5 years of hands-on NetSuite development. - Strong SuiteScript 2.1 skills and a software-engineering approach to NetSuite. - Ability to design maintainable, scalable solutions and work across the development lifecycle. - Experience with NetSuite data, queries, integrations, and automation patterns.
Nice to have - Construction or accounting domain knowledge. - Experience with Jest or comparable JavaScript/TypeScript testing tools. - Familiarity with Freemarker for advanced PDF or HTML templates and CI/CD for NetSuite deployments.
