About this role
Role overview Be the primary technical support contact for assigned enterprise clients using a payment disbursement service. You’ll coordinate cases from intake through resolution, translate transaction and integration issues into clear next steps, and work with specialist teams while helping establish support practices for an emerging business line.
Responsibilities - Own case intake, follow-up, and client updates for assigned accounts through resolution. - Lead escalations for payment-blocking or high-impact issues, bringing the appropriate teams together and tracking response commitments. - Explain payment events, failed or returned transactions, and data errors, and provide clients with actionable next steps. - Help clients with testing, approval, and go-live, then support account health through regular service reviews and monthly service-level reporting. - Provide technical input for executive business reviews in partnership with Customer Success. - Create runbooks, track recurring issues, and support post-incident reviews to reduce repeat problems.
Requirements - At least five years in technical account management, technical support escalation, solutions engineering, or a similar client-facing technical role. - Experience serving as an escalation contact for high-severity issues. - Knowledge of electronic payments and bank operations, including ACH processing, returns, and reconciliation. - Understanding of APIs, event-driven integrations, and controls for regulated money movement, such as identity verification and sanctions screening. - Ability to interpret API responses, event payloads, or logs to trace transaction issues. - Clear written and verbal communication with technical and executive audiences.
Nice to have - Experience with donor-advised funds, grantmaking, or corporate giving.
Benefits and work setup - Remote-first and flexible work environment. - Listed benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance; wellness programs; a 401(k) match; flexible paid time off; parental leave; tuition reimbursement; and pet, legal, and identity protection insurance.
