About this role
Role overview Support a small, remote team working with researchers and biotechnology groups by keeping cross-functional projects organized and moving forward. The role combines project coordination, preparation for external conversations, record keeping, and the practical follow-through needed to turn decisions into completed work.
Responsibilities - Track priorities, owners, deadlines, meeting notes, and follow-ups across science, engineering, and business projects. - Arrange conversations with researchers, laboratories, startups, and partners; document decisions and route next steps to the right people. - Keep project trackers, operating documents, partner pipeline updates, and concise weekly reports current. - Coordinate incoming model and workflow requests, internal reviews, and administrative steps through publication. - Handle recurring team operations, including scheduling, document organization, and general administration.
Requirements - Clear written communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to turn ambiguous tasks into concrete next steps. - Experience organizing multi-step work, aligning multiple people, and following through reliably. - Willingness to learn scientific or technical topics, ask focused questions, and work with researchers and engineers. - Good judgment and discretion, with an interest in both project work and routine operational responsibilities.
Nice to have - Internship or early-career experience in operations, project coordination, research administration, customer-facing work, or a startup. - Interest in biotechnology, scientific software, developer tools, or research workflows. - Familiarity with project tracking tools, collaborative documents, lightweight reporting, or coordination across a remote team.
