Growth Product Manager- Teamup
Job details
About this role
Role overview This is a fully remote, full-stack Growth Product Manager role for a customizable shared-calendar product used by roughly five million people each month. It is the first hire dedicated exclusively to growth, reporting directly to the CEO, and is based in the US Eastern time zone. The mission is to strengthen the sharing flywheel that already drives signups, so more viewers become admins, new admins reach value faster, and the move from free to paid feels clear and easy.
Responsibilities - Own the end-to-end new-admin time-to-value journey, from signup through a shared calendar that solves the user's problem. - Define and measure activation, including the events, the reporting, and the headline activation number. - Shape the referral loop so a shared calendar reliably converts viewers into admins, including mobile viewers. - Design the upgrade path across plan limits, prompts, and the free-to-paid moment. - Build and iterate on an AI onboarding agent that guides new admins. - Run an experiment cadence: prototype, test, ship, and cut, while writing code with AI, opening pull requests, and shipping to production alongside engineering. - Talk with customers weekly, read support conversations, instrument the funnel, and build the reports the work is run from.
Requirements - 5+ years in growth or product at a self-serve software company where users sign up and pay without sales involvement. - Hands-on engineering experience, including writing production code with AI assistance, opening pull requests, writing SQL, and instrumenting events yourself. - A track record of personally owning onboarding, activation, an upgrade path, or an in-product share loop, with named results. - Demonstrated ability to design with AI tools and turn customer conversations into shipped changes. - Self-starter background, ideally as an early hire or at a small company, with the pace to match.
Benefits and work setup - Fully remote within the US Eastern time zone. - Expected base salary of $135,000 USD, excluding annual bonus and equity where applicable; final offer varies with experience and market.
