About this role
Role overview Take responsibility for the infrastructure and operational practices that keep online storefronts responsive and available. The role spans deployment, capacity, monitoring, backup, and tenant setup automation, while helping engineering teams release changes safely and respond effectively to incidents.
Responsibilities - Operate and improve deployment processes and infrastructure scaling. - Monitor service health and maintain backup practices. - Automate tenant provisioning, including schema setup and TLS issuance for custom domains. - Build safeguards that support frequent, reliable software releases. - Respond to service disruptions and help restore normal operations.
Requirements - Ability to manage infrastructure supporting production web services. - Experience with deployments, scaling, monitoring, and backups. - Ability to automate repeatable provisioning tasks involving tenant schemas and TLS. - Sound judgment during incidents and a focus on service reliability. - Ability to help teams ship changes safely and frequently.
