About this role
Role overview A senior individual-contributor product role owning strategy and roadmap for a multi-exabyte, S3-compatible cloud object storage product used by AI-focused and traditional cloud customers. The position spans the full product lifecycle, from customer discovery and market research through requirements, launch, and post-launch iteration, working closely with engineering, design, product marketing, and go-to-market teams.
Responsibilities - Drive the B2-style cloud object storage product strategy and roadmap end-to-end, from discovery through delivery execution. - Lead the full product development lifecycle, gathering and synthesizing inputs from internal teams, customers, and partners across feature capabilities, user experience, cost optimization, and technical debt. - Translate complex customer and market challenges into clear, actionable product requirements in collaboration with Design, Engineering, and Go-to-Market functions. - Partner with Product Marketing to launch and drive adoption of new products and features, acting as a subject-matter expert and presenting to customers, prospects, partners, and internal audiences. - Establish and track product KPIs, using data to inform iteration and growth decisions. - Maintain deep awareness of the object storage market, including AI and neocloud use cases and competitive offerings, to identify new opportunities and defend market leadership.
Requirements - 6+ years of product management experience in technology businesses, preferably on IaaS or SaaS offerings. - Proven track record of launching and scaling technical products or platforms in high-growth environments, with strong cross-functional leadership across R&D and go-to-market. - Solid grasp of cloud architecture, APIs, and security and compliance considerations. - Demonstrated success owning product roadmaps, defining MVPs, and driving the complete product lifecycle. - Strategic ability to translate market trends, customer needs, and technical innovations into a clear product vision and actionable roadmap, with strong empathy for users. - Excellent written and verbal communication, collaborative leadership style, and skill at building consensus with internal and external stakeholders; comfort using data and metrics to guide decisions.
Nice to have - Deep expertise in cloud storage and computing from hyperscale and neocloud providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, GPU clouds, and CDNs. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA. - Hands-on application development or programming experience, and familiarity with applying generative AI to solution prototyping and agentic workflow development.
