QA Engineer

Role overview Plan and carry out quality assurance for technology initiatives, including cloud migrations and generative AI implementations. You will translate product requirements into test coverage, evaluate behavior and performance, and work with development teams to resolve defects. The role also contributes to improving testing practices and automation where it fits.

Responsibilities - Identify features and quality objectives with relevant teams, then develop test plans and scenarios. - Run functional, user acceptance, performance, and production smoke tests against requirements and specifications. - Analyze test results, record outcomes, and identify defects or gaps in expected behavior. - Trace issues to the relevant development stage and coordinate with the responsible teams on resolution. - Automate suitable tests and processes, and track improvements to product quality. - Research testing methods and tools to find ways to improve QA processes and their efficiency.

Requirements - At least three years of quality assurance experience. - Experience planning tests from user requirements, product specifications, and technical documentation. - Ability to execute and assess functional and performance tests and document findings clearly. - Skill in investigating defects and collaborating with development teams to resolve them. - Ability to identify suitable testing tasks for automation and improve established processes.

Nice to have - Interest in applying quality practices to cloud and generative AI solutions. - Familiarity with production smoke testing and user acceptance testing.
