Senior Frontend Engineer

Role overview Lead substantial frontend work on a customer-facing web product, partnering with product and design to create clear, responsive, trustworthy experiences. You will own parts of the application and its shared design system, make technical choices, and help raise the quality of the wider frontend team.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain web application areas such as dashboards, onboarding, and customer pages using React and TypeScript. - Evolve a shared design system and component library in close collaboration with designers. - Integrate REST and WebSocket APIs with backend services. - Guide decisions about state management, testing approaches, and performance targets. - Mentor junior engineers through reviews, pairing, and documentation.

Requirements - At least five years building production web applications, including three or more years with React. - Deep TypeScript expertise. - Strong product judgment and attention to interface quality. - Experience maintaining a component library or design system at scale. - Familiarity with web performance practices such as Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, and code splitting. - Clear written communication and comfort working asynchronously in a remote team.

Nice to have - Background in financial services or regulated products. - React Native familiarity. - Startup experience across multiple areas of product development. - Public contributions or work samples.
