About this role
Role overview Own the cloud platform and delivery foundations for a service where reliability directly affects users’ ability to move money. You’ll manage production infrastructure, deployment workflows, security, and observability, while helping engineering teams release changes safely.
Responsibilities - Design and operate AWS infrastructure with Terraform, including container, database, cache, and queue services. - Improve CI/CD pipelines, build speed, deployment safety, and rollback procedures. - Maintain logs, metrics, traces, and alerting across the technology stack. - Strengthen infrastructure security through access controls, network design, secrets management, and patching. - Define service objectives, error budgets, and on-call practices with engineering leads. - Build internal tools and improvements that make development and operations more effective.
Requirements - At least four years in DevOps, site reliability, or platform engineering. - Deep AWS experience and a track record managing production infrastructure with Terraform. - Experience designing highly available systems and disaster recovery in compliance-sensitive settings. - Strong security practices, including least privilege and auditability. - Solid Linux and shell skills, with confidence debugging network-level issues.
Nice to have - Kubernetes, especially EKS, or familiarity with PCI-DSS and financial infrastructure. - Previous experience in fintech or payments.
