About this role
Role overview Lead a distributed team of cloud infrastructure engineers responsible for designing, operating, and automating multi-cloud environments that serve global stakeholders. This is a hands-on leadership role defining technical roadmaps, setting architectural direction, and partnering closely with R&D, Security, and Corporate IT to deliver secure and scalable infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Responsibilities - Manage and technically guide engineers who configure, operate, and automate cloud environments across multiple public cloud providers. - Define and execute the technical roadmap and architecture strategy for multi-cloud infrastructure and operations. - Govern core areas including identity and access management, perimeter security, account lifecycles, infrastructure-as-code ownership, and cloud cost optimization. - Design, implement, and document operating principles, architectural best practices, and complex troubleshooting playbooks for cross-functional technology teams. - Maintain direct hands-on involvement in complex technical implementations and architectural decisions.
Requirements - 7+ years of experience managing and operating production cloud-based environments across AWS, GCP, or Azure. - 4+ years of hands-on expertise with infrastructure-as-code and modern DevOps tooling such as Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or GitOps. - 4+ years of software development experience using a scripting language such as Python, Ruby, GoLang, or JavaScript. - 3+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing engineering teams. - Professional written and verbal English proficiency to author documentation for global stakeholders.
Nice to have - Extensive Linux administration and networking protocol experience within public cloud environments. - Hands-on experience deploying and managing Docker and Kubernetes. - Background building and maintaining highly available cloud infrastructure. - Prior collaboration with R&D, Security, and Corporate IT teams.
Benefits and work setup - Remote position aligned to the US Eastern Timezone. - Annual base compensation of $160,000–$180,000 USD, with eligibility for a bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.
