The Manager, Professional Services leads a team of seven specialists responsible for delivering complex enterprise implementations of cloud software and connected hardware for public safety and justice sector customers. Operating remotely from Australia with approximately 40% travel, the role combines people leadership, project governance, and technical oversight to help agencies adopt digital evidence, body-worn cameras, in-car video, and related technology.
Responsibilities
- Coach, mentor, and develop a seven-person delivery team through regular feedback, performance reviews, and skill-building initiatives. - Plan and balance team capacity across multiple concurrent enterprise rollouts, ensuring the right expertise is matched to each engagement. - Direct change management, solution demonstrations, technical workshops, and presentations, keeping client partners and internal stakeholders aligned. - Partner with business and IT leaders to shape scope, milestones, and delivery timelines, while ensuring documentation supports customer acceptance and project governance. - Stay current on the product portfolio, including cloud platforms, mobile apps, interview room systems, in-car video, and body-worn cameras, to guide installation, configuration, and testing. - Capture customer feedback and feature requests, sharing insights with product and sales teams to inform roadmap and service improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading technical delivery or professional services teams in a fast-paced setting. - Operating background in digital video, mobile communications, or SaaS environments. - Strong project management skills, including software and hardware implementation within complex customer environments. - Comfort with basic networking, mobile applications, and structured troubleshooting. - Ability to plan, drive, and track several projects simultaneously with solid problem-solving judgment. - Bachelor's degree in management, business, IT, information systems, or a relevant engineering field such as computer science or software engineering. - Willingness to travel approximately 40% within Australia, with occasional international trips.
