Responsibilities
- Design and ship scalable microservices and APIs using languages such as Python, Go, or Java - Tune systems for performance, intelligent caching, and database scalability across SQL and NoSQL stores - Build observability, distributed tracing, and error-handling patterns that keep services healthy in production - Partner with machine learning teams to design efficient model inference pipelines - Contribute to architectural decisions around distributed systems, messaging, and data flow
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend engineering experience building high-scale, production-grade systems - Hands-on experience with distributed systems, message queues, and caching strategies - Comfort with cloud-native patterns and container orchestration, including Kubernetes - Strong debugging skills and a systems-thinking approach to problem solving
