Role overview This technical lead will direct a data integration and migration services practice, combining solution architecture, client delivery, people leadership, and business operations. The role calls for a hands-on technical authority who can shape enterprise solutions, guide complex engagements, build delivery standards, and support sustainable practice growth.
Responsibilities - Set technical direction for integration and migration services, including architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and delivery methods. - Lead solution design for enterprise data movement, APIs, middleware, batch and real-time integrations, and ETL/ELT workloads. - Guide client engagements through discovery, requirements validation, architecture workshops, delivery planning, risk management, testing, deployment, and production support. - Serve as a senior technical advisor and escalation point, communicating progress and recommendations to client and executive stakeholders. - Lead and develop technical teams, manage staffing and performance, and oversee delivery across concurrent engagements. - Support practice growth through estimates, proposals, statements of work, client presentations, repeatable offerings, and technology partnerships.
Requirements - 12+ years in enterprise technology consulting, data integration, data migration, or solution architecture. - 5+ years leading technical delivery teams, architects, or integration practices. - Demonstrated experience architecting enterprise integrations and complex data migrations. - Strong hands-on knowledge of at least one major integration platform, preferably Boomi, Workato, or MuleSoft, and ability to oversee architecture across platforms. - Experience managing concurrent client engagements, delivery risks, budgets, utilization, margins, and resource forecasts. - Background in client-facing technical leadership, solution discovery, delivery planning, escalations, and proposal development.
Nice to have - Experience with Informatica, Snowflake, Azure, Salesforce, or related cloud and data technologies. - Work across higher education, nonprofit, healthcare, commercial, or public-sector environments. - Periodic travel may be required based on client and business needs.
