Founding Engineer — Full-stack

Role overview Build the foundational features of a self-hosted authentication platform that developers can run in their own environments. As an early full-stack engineer, you will take features from database design through to the developer-facing React SDK, with substantial influence over the product’s direction and implementation.

Responsibilities - Develop authentication capabilities, including sessions, tokens, and multi-factor authentication. - Build support for organizations and role-based access control. - Design and evolve the platform’s Postgres schema. - Create and maintain the React SDK developers integrate into their applications. - Own features across the stack, from data model to customer-facing integration.

Requirements - Full-stack engineering experience spanning database and application layers. - Experience designing or building authentication systems, including sessions or tokens. - Familiarity with Postgres and relational schema design. - Experience building React libraries, SDKs, or application integrations. - Ability to take ownership of features through implementation across multiple layers.
