Role overview
This position supports an active programme of Microsoft 365 delivery, contributing to practical business solutions built on SharePoint and the wider Power Platform. It suits someone with a solid technical foundation who wants to deepen their experience by taking individual requirements end-to-end, from problem definition through build, test, and handover. The work is hands-on rather than architectural, with autonomy to investigate issues and present finished work to a project lead.
Responsibilities
- Build and configure SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, views, columns, and permissions, including JSON-based column and view formatting - Design, maintain, and troubleshoot Power Automate flows that automate business processes, working with triggers, actions, conditions, and approvals - Assist with developing and modifying Power Apps, connecting them to SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 services - Diagnose configuration and functionality issues across SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps, applying fixes and improvements - Test completed work, document the approach, and demonstrate deliverables back to the project lead - Translate individual requirements into workable solutions, raise clarifying questions, and iterate based on feedback
Requirements
- Practical experience with SharePoint Online, including lists, libraries, configuration, and troubleshooting - Working knowledge of SharePoint JSON for customising lists, libraries, and views - Hands-on experience building Power Automate flows with triggers, actions, conditions, and error handling - Familiarity with basic Power Apps and how they connect to SharePoint and Microsoft 365 services - Confidence working independently on defined tasks, researching unfamiliar problems, and presenting sensible solutions - Ability to clearly explain technical work, including walking through a previously built Power Automate flow during the interview
Nice to have
- Microsoft 365 or formal Power Platform credentials, useful but secondary to demonstrable practical experience
