Role overview Lead the build of cross-platform mobile applications where performance and feel are non-negotiable, from financial trading apps with live data to enterprise field tools with offline sync. The work spans Flutter and Dart, native platform integration through Dart FFI, and offline-first reactive architectures optimized for steady 120fps frame rates. The position is remote (global), full-time, with compensation of $175k–$235k plus profit share.
Responsibilities - Architect and maintain enterprise-grade iOS and Android applications using Flutter and Dart - Implement low-latency native integrations, C/C++ bindings via Dart FFI, and bridges for audio, sensors, and crypto - Design resilient offline-first data architectures with local SQLite or Isar storage, optimistic mutations, and background sync - Profile and tune frame budgets (120fps / 60fps), memory footprint, and battery efficiency - Establish automated CI/CD pipelines with Fastlane and GitHub Actions for multi-flavor signing and App Store / Play Store delivery
Requirements - 5+ years of mobile software development with 3+ years of production Flutter and Dart experience - Deep understanding of Flutter internals including RenderObjects, the Element tree, custom Painters, and the Dart async runtime - Strong familiarity with native iOS (Swift or Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin or Java) development - Experience engineering state-driven patterns such as Bloc, Riverpod, or declarative state machines - Strong eye for gesture physics, responsive layouts across tablets and foldables, and smooth micro-animations
