Delivery Manager (LATAM based)

Role overview

The Delivery Manager owns delivery strategy and client relationships across multi-project engagements, from proposal planning through execution and handoff. The role aligns teams and stakeholders around realistic commitments, monitors delivery risks and financial health, and improves working practices across engagements.

Responsibilities

- Review proposed scope, contract assumptions, and change requests to identify delivery risks, dependencies, and cost implications. - Turn signed statements of work into integrated plans with milestones, acceptance activities, responsibilities, and cross-project dependencies. - Coordinate with project management, pre-sales, and recruiting teams to prepare teams and engagement governance before kickoff. - Establish client communication, validation, escalation, and sign-off practices; lead recurring progress and risk reviews. - Resolve issues that span teams, negotiate delivery trade-offs, track client satisfaction, and surface potential expansion opportunities. - Monitor estimated versus actual costs, run post-mortems, and implement process improvements across projects.

Requirements

- 8+ years in software delivery in a services or consulting environment, including 3+ years in a delivery, engagement, or program management role overseeing multiple projects or teams for one client. - Experience managing account-level client relationships, including steering committees, reviews, escalations, and negotiated trade-offs. - Ability to translate contracts and statements of work into plans covering milestones, user acceptance testing, and dependencies. - Experience tracking delivery costs and margins, managing risks, and assessing change requests. - Familiarity with agile delivery and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalents. - C1 English, strong senior-stakeholder communication, and daily use of AI tools for planning, reporting, or documentation.

Nice to have

- Delivery experience in AI, data, or machine learning; experience with US clients in a nearshore model; or experience building delivery governance from scratch. - PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or similar certification.
