Responsibilities
- Own the infrastructure that runs the organization's products, from foundation through day-to-day operations - Build and evolve that infrastructure using code-driven, repeatable approaches in place of manual change - Run production systems calmly, with steady incident response and a clear bias toward reliability - Track cloud spend and pursue efficiency without compromising stability or performance - Shape infrastructure so it is straightforward for product engineers to consume, deploy onto, and reason about
Requirements
- Hands-on experience operating cloud infrastructure in production environments - Comfort working in an infrastructure-as-code model rather than ad-hoc manual edits - A measured operational mindset suited to on-call rotation, incident handling, and quiet execution under pressure - Care for cost outcomes alongside performance, security, and reliability - A tendency to document work so the platform remains legible to the rest of the engineering organization
