Role overview This position focuses on mobile application development, building native and cross-platform apps that integrate with web services and back-end systems. The engineer works alongside UI/UX designers, API integrators, and testing teams to deliver polished, user-centered mobile experiences.
Responsibilities - Build native and cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android - Apply user-centered design principles and partner with UI/UX designers - Integrate mobile apps with back-end services through APIs - Contribute to software testing, quality assurance, and test automation - Collaborate with DevOps and continuous delivery to ship mobile releases - Participate in requirements analysis and product definition discussions
Requirements - Experience developing native or cross-platform mobile applications - Familiarity with UI/UX design practices and prototyping workflows - Working knowledge of API integration and mobile-to-server connectivity - Understanding of software testing and quality assurance for mobile - Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into mobile features - Comfort working across design, back-end, and operations teams
Nice to have - Exposure to headless content platforms and e-commerce storefront integrations - Experience supporting MVPs, proof-of-concept builds, or iterative product launches
