Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack (Builder Studio)

Role overview

Build a new software creation product that lets people describe a business tool in plain language, refine it conversationally, and publish it for team use. You’ll own substantial parts of both the customer-facing builder and the systems that run generated applications, with a focus on making the experience understandable, secure, and reliable as usage grows.

Responsibilities

- Develop the conversational build flow, live preview, editing canvas, and publishing and sharing experience. - Improve how an AI agent turns user goals into application plans and safely updates pages, data structures, and workflows. - Design runtime and workflow capabilities such as triggers, scheduled jobs, retries, and logging. - Implement delegated identity, permissions, secrets management, and isolation so generated apps use only the author’s allowed access. - Expand connections to internal business data and external tools, including spreadsheets, file storage, CRMs, and connector protocols. - Make the links between interfaces, records, workflows, and agents clear so users can understand and trust their apps. - Work with design partners and customers, incorporating feedback into shipped changes; establish engineering patterns and own reliability, performance, cost, tests, and evaluations.

Requirements

- Senior-level full-stack engineering experience delivering customer-facing products and backend systems. - Ability to work across user interfaces, application runtimes, integrations, and secure permission models. - Strong product judgment and collaboration skills, including the ability to turn customer feedback into practical improvements. - Care for software quality, reliability, performance, and operating cost in a rapidly evolving product environment. - Interest in AI-assisted development and building products that use agents to create or modify software.

Nice to have

Experience with TypeScript and React, Ruby on Rails or Node.js, Cloudflare Workers or Durable Objects, and application integrations. Background in go-to-market software or working with revenue operations teams is also useful.
