About this role
Role overview Help establish and scale enterprise-grade AI capabilities by designing, building, and deploying AI-powered applications and automations within the Microsoft AI ecosystem, including Azure AI Foundry and the Power Platform. The role blends software engineering, solution architecture, and applied AI development, translating ideas into secure, production-ready solutions while shaping standards, patterns, and governance for a maturing AI function. It is a senior individual contributor profile with a growth path toward broader capability leadership.
Responsibilities - Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, copilots, and agent-based workflows using Azure AI and Microsoft Foundry. - Build scalable integrations across enterprise systems, Microsoft 365, and Azure services, and orchestrate prompts and model workflows for real-world use cases. - Develop solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse, extending low-code builds with custom APIs, connectors, and Azure services. - Translate business needs into scalable technical designs and AI-enabled workflows, advising on architecture tradeoffs and the right mix of AI versus traditional automation. - Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and data governance policies, applying responsible AI practices including testing, monitoring, and human oversight. - Help establish foundational practices, reusable components, and templates, and contribute to the evolution of internal AI standards and tooling.
Requirements - Experience developing applications in the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, APIs, and integrations. - Hands-on experience with Azure AI services or comparable AI/ML platforms. - Experience with the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, or Copilot Studio. - Strong programming skills in Python, C#, JavaScript, or a similar language. - Experience integrating systems via APIs and enterprise data sources. - Ability to translate business requirements into working technical solutions and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to have - Experience developing or deploying AI-driven applications or automation solutions in production. - Familiarity with AI governance, model evaluation, and responsible AI practices. - Experience working under structured security and compliance requirements. - Exposure to establishing development standards, patterns, or reusable frameworks.
