Senior Platform Engineer

Role overview

Lead foundational platform engineering for a multi-tenant backend infrastructure product. The role spans Kubernetes operations, infrastructure as code, backend services, databases, security, APIs, and developer tooling, with responsibility for building systems that support customer workloads in production. You will contribute to architecture and roadmap decisions while owning services from implementation through operation.

Responsibilities

- Design, operate, and scale Kubernetes-based infrastructure for multiple customer environments. - Maintain Terraform configurations and reproducible deployment patterns. - Extend API-generation capabilities that turn database models into secure REST interfaces. - Build and scale services for authentication, file storage, search, workflow automation, and payments. - Design PostgreSQL schemas, improve query performance, and manage replication, backups, and related database infrastructure. - Strengthen tenant isolation and security through row-level security, field-level access controls, SSO, and audit logging.

Requirements

- Strong production experience managing Kubernetes clusters, workloads, networking, and observability. - Comprehensive experience with C# and .NET. - Deep PostgreSQL expertise, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, and row-level security. - Experience with Terraform or an equivalent infrastructure-as-code approach. - Background building and operating multi-tenant SaaS platforms. - Strong REST API design skills, security fundamentals, and willingness to own backend services in production.

Nice to have

- Experience with developer tools, BaaS, PaaS, or cloud infrastructure products. - Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Typesense, Meilisearch, or comparable search systems. - TypeScript or Node.js experience. - Experience with Stripe Connect or other complex payment integrations.
