Role overview
Build and improve the operational foundation for a growing software stack. This role covers greenfield infrastructure work as well as the day-to-day systems that keep releases dependable, services observable, and incidents manageable.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, container workflows, deployment paths, and development environments. - Own monitoring, alerting, operational quality, and reliability practices across services. - Strengthen security controls and integrate them into engineering and release workflows. - Establish practical release, rollback, and incident-response processes. - Investigate difficult runtime issues, including service startup ordering and dependency races. - Evaluate infrastructure tools and explain trade-offs behind technical choices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with infrastructure, platform engineering, site reliability, or DevOps work. - Ability to build reliable CI/CD and deployment systems from incomplete or evolving foundations. - Practical experience with cloud infrastructure, containers, and automated workflows. - Strong operational judgment during incidents and a calm, methodical approach to troubleshooting. - A reliability mindset that treats resilience and maintainability as core product qualities. - Familiarity with tools such as Vercel, AWS, Docker, and GitHub Actions, or comparable technologies.
