About this role
Role overview
This full-stack position focuses on delivering complete product features across data, services, user interfaces, and blockchain-connected workflows. The work suits an engineer who can move comfortably between backend design, React development, asynchronous processing, and the boundary between on-chain and off-chain systems. You will be expected to make practical architectural decisions and investigate failures that span multiple services or layers.
Responsibilities
- Develop features end to end, from database models and service APIs through to user-facing interfaces. - Build and maintain TypeScript applications using Node.js services and Next.js frontend patterns. - Design and work with MongoDB-backed data models that support product functionality and reliable application behavior. - Integrate wallet, transaction, and blockchain-related flows with the surrounding web application. - Diagnose issues in background jobs, service boundaries, and asynchronous processes, tracing problems to their underlying cause. - Make pragmatic trade-offs around architecture, implementation complexity, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Strong TypeScript experience across both frontend and backend codebases. - Experience building web applications with React and Next.js. - Practical experience developing Node.js services and working with MongoDB or a comparable document-oriented database. - Ability to take ownership of a feature across its data, API, UI, and operational layers. - Comfortable debugging distributed or asynchronous workflows and reasoning across process boundaries. - Sound engineering judgment when selecting simple, durable solutions over unnecessary complexity.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with viem or wagmi, especially for wallet connections and transaction handling. - Experience integrating on-chain functionality with conventional web services and interfaces.
The blockchain-specific tooling can be learned by an engineer who already has strong fundamentals in full-stack development.
