Frontend Engineer

Role overview

Own a web interface that makes governance activity, treasury information, and raw blockchain data understandable and actionable. The work combines product-minded frontend engineering with performance, accessibility, and state-management decisions for a largely server-rendered application handling dense financial and on-chain information.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain proposal, delegate, treasury, wallet, and transaction experiences. - Present complex on-chain and financial data in ways that are clear, responsive, and easy to navigate. - Use server rendering and client-side state deliberately to support performance and reliable interactions. - Implement wallet connection and transaction flows with useful loading, empty, success, and error states. - Work with design and backend contributors to clarify requirements and turn ambiguous needs into shippable features. - Review pull requests and identify usability, accessibility, and resilience issues before they reach users.

Requirements

- Strong experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript. - Ability to build performant interfaces that combine server-rendered and interactive client-side behavior. - Experience managing application state and asynchronous data flows. - Practical understanding of accessibility and inclusive interface behavior. - Ability to make dense datasets legible through thoughtful information architecture and interaction design. - Product ownership: comfortable shaping requirements and delivering polished, understandable results.

Nice to have

- Experience with governance, treasury, wallet, or other blockchain-related interfaces. - Experience collaborating closely with design and backend engineering teams.
