About this role
Role overview
Build the user-facing layer for interacting with smart contracts, with transaction reliability and clarity as central concerns. The role covers wallet connection, signing, preflight validation, and the complete set of pending, success, rejection, wrong-network, unavailable-contract, and failure states that make on-chain applications usable in practice.
Responsibilities
- Implement wallet connection and account/network selection flows. - Build transaction signing and submission experiences with clear progress and outcome states. - Detect invalid conditions before submission, including calls likely to revert or contracts that are not available. - Handle rejected transactions, wrong networks, failed simulations, delayed confirmations, and other on-chain errors. - Create interfaces that communicate transaction status without hiding important risks or uncertainty. - Keep security-sensitive values and assumptions out of untrusted client-side control.
Requirements
- Production experience developing decentralized applications. - Strong React and TypeScript skills. - Practical experience with viem, wagmi, or comparable wallet and contract-interaction libraries. - Understanding of transaction lifecycle, contract calls, signing, gas, confirmations, and reverts. - Ability to distinguish trusted on-chain or server-validated data from user-controlled client input. - Strong product judgment around error handling and transaction UX.
