Responsibilities
- Develop and advance data-analysis capabilities based on deep learning and computer-vision techniques. - Work on visual intelligence problems involving image processing, 3D geometry, and applied machine learning. - Contribute to computer-vision tasks such as semantic segmentation, object detection, and image classification. - Help create tools that can be deployed within a broader enterprise AI platform. - Collaborate within a data-science team specializing in deep learning, image analysis, and geomatics. - Operate effectively in a fast-moving environment and adapt as technical priorities evolve.
Requirements
- Engineering degree in computer science or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience. - Practical Python knowledge, including scientific libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, OpenCV, and scikit-learn. - Understanding of theoretical and applied computer vision and 3D geometry, including reconstruction, constrained optimization, morphology, or clustering. - Strong knowledge of deep learning and machine learning fundamentals. - Experience with PyTorch or an equivalent framework. - Comfort working in Unix/Linux and Git environments.
Nice to have
Experience with GIS or remote-sensing tools for georeferencing data, such as GDAL, QGIS, GeoPandas, or Rasterio, is highly valued.
