Senior AI Software Engineer

Role overview Build and operate AI-powered applications and automation for complex enterprise workflows. The role combines software engineering, cloud deployment, and applied AI, including language models, retrieval-based systems, and agentic approaches. Solutions must meet demanding expectations for reliability, privacy, security, and responsible use.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using frameworks such as Java Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python FastAPI. - Integrate generative AI models and services into production applications. - Design and implement solutions using large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic AI patterns. - Adapt and optimize models for specific business use cases, and improve application performance and scalability. - Build automation that improves operational efficiency and user experience. - Collaborate with product, architecture, business, and technology teams; contribute to technical documentation and design discussions. - Deploy and support applications on cloud platforms, with a stated preference for Azure.

Requirements - Strong software engineering experience developing and supporting production applications and APIs. - Hands-on experience with generative AI and large language models, including retrieval-augmented generation or agentic frameworks. - Ability to integrate AI/ML services into enterprise software while following security and engineering standards. - Experience deploying cloud applications and troubleshooting issues related to reliability, performance, or scale. - Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate technical decisions.

Nice to have Experience with model fine-tuning and platforms or tools such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, and LangChain.
