Senior Analytics Engineer (100% Remote) (LATAM Only)

Role overview Build and maintain analytical data models and workflows that support reporting, business intelligence, and broader analytics initiatives. The role centers on dimensional modeling and production-ready transformations, with work spanning cloud data tools and collaboration with stakeholders across departments. It also includes limited support for a legacy reporting environment when needed.

Responsibilities - Design scalable analytical models, including fact and dimension tables, star schemas, and reporting datasets. - Develop and maintain dbt models, transformations, and analytics workflows. - Build ELT pipelines using Databricks, SQL, Python, and cloud technologies. - Translate reporting and business needs into reliable data solutions in collaboration with stakeholders. - Maintain data quality, consistency, and governance across analytics environments. - Support initiatives involving Microsoft Fabric, SQL endpoints, infrastructure-as-code tooling, and AI-enabled analytics; provide occasional support for SSRS.

Requirements - Strong hands-on experience with dbt and analytics engineering workflows. - Deep understanding of dimensional modeling, including facts, dimensions, star schemas, and Kimball methodology. - Practical experience with Databricks and cloud analytics platforms. - Strong SQL skills and the ability to deliver production-ready data solutions independently. - Clear communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to technical and nontechnical stakeholders. - Strong spoken English, dependable connectivity, and availability to overlap with Mountain Time working hours.

Nice to have - Experience with Python, Microsoft Fabric, SQL endpoints, Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools, and AI-enabled analytics. - Familiarity with legacy SSRS reporting environments.

Benefits and work setup This is a fully remote, long-term independent contractor engagement for 32–40 hours per week. The source lists an hourly rate of $23.75–$25 USD, depending on experience, and requires Mountain Time working-hours overlap.
