Role overview Join a high-growth SaaS engineering team as a Senior Software Engineer building a unified Risk Intelligence and Response platform that helps organizations detect emerging threats, assess impact, and coordinate response. This is a full-stack role focused on designing and shipping customer-facing features across web and services, with an AI-forward culture that encourages hands-on use of modern assistant tooling. The position is remote within Mexico, with optional access to a Mexico City office for in-person collaboration.
Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain features across the product suite using Python, Elixir, JavaScript, React, and Next.js - Contribute to scalable web services and APIs that power a unified intelligence and response platform - Use AI-assisted development tools (for example, code generation and documentation assistants) to accelerate workflows and improve code quality - Collaborate in an Agile environment with Git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Slack, participating in ceremonies and code reviews - Partner with principal engineers and product stakeholders on architecture decisions and technical direction - Write unit and integration tests, and uphold engineering quality standards across multiple parallel projects
Requirements - 6–8 years of experience building scalable, production-grade web applications - Strong proficiency with at least one of Python or Elixir, plus working knowledge of JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks - Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider such as AWS - Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and containerized environments using Docker or Kubernetes - Demonstrated practice of writing automated tests and contributing to reliable release pipelines - Strong written and verbal English communication, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
Nice to have - Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field - Prior exposure to Django, Phoenix, or similar web frameworks - Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment practices in a high-velocity SaaS environment
