About this role
Role overview
A senior technical leadership role based in Paris (hybrid) focused on defining and delivering AI-native customer experiences for major global brands. The position sits at the intersection of generative AI systems engineering, modern frontend architecture, and client advisory, leading a small engineering team while staying hands-on with code, prototypes, and architecture decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture of AI-native experience platforms spanning frontend rendering, retrieval, orchestration, and agentic workflows. - Stay hands-on with engineering work: build prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and production acceleration across emerging AI-enabled products. - Manage and mentor a team of developers, setting technical direction, delivery standards, and engineering quality. - Engage directly with senior client stakeholders on AI transformation, technical strategy, and engineering roadmaps. - Run discovery sessions, workshops, and architecture reviews, translating technical complexity into business and customer experience value. - Drive AI-augmented engineering methodologies and continuously evolve tooling, processes, and technical standards.
Requirements
- Strong frontend architecture background with advanced React and Next.js, including Server Components, streaming UX, and edge rendering. - Experience across modern LLM ecosystems (foundation models, retrieval pipelines, vector storage, embeddings, multi-agent systems, and AI observability tooling). - Familiarity with AI governance considerations including evaluations, guardrails, and observability. - Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and prompt-driven or AI pair-programming workflows. - Cloud infrastructure experience (Vercel and GCP preferred; AWS and Azure also considered), including serverless, edge, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate as both a technical architect and a client-facing advisor.
Nice to have
- Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, microservices, and MACH architectures. - Background working with CMS, DXP, and MarTech ecosystems.
Benefits and work setup
- Hybrid working model with required in-office days, collaborating with global studios; flexibility and accommodations can be discussed with the hiring team during the interview process.
