Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Role overview Own substantial product areas across merchant dashboards, public storefronts, and a core platform API. This senior full-stack role spans planning through deployment, with close collaboration across product and design and responsibility for technical direction and delivery quality.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain product features using TypeScript, React, and Node.js technologies. - Own feature work end to end, from database schema and API design through user interface and deployment. - Help set platform architecture decisions and engineering standards. - Review code and support the growth of junior engineers through mentoring. - Write and maintain tests, technical documentation, and operational runbooks. - Work with product and design in an agile team to deliver customer-facing improvements.

Requirements - At least five years of professional full-stack development experience. - Strong TypeScript skills across frontend and backend work. - Experience with React or Next.js and Node.js. - Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, relational schema design, and query optimization. - Understanding of REST API design and HTTP semantics. - Fluency in English or Arabic, with strong written communication suited to remote work.

Nice to have - NestJS or another structured backend framework experience. - Experience at a startup or high-growth software business. - Familiarity with Turborepo, Astro, or monorepo tooling. - Previous work on e-commerce or marketplace products.
