DevOps / Platform Engineer

Role overview

Operate and improve production infrastructure so engineering services remain reliable, secure, and easier to develop and deploy. The work covers Kubernetes, cloud environments, delivery pipelines, observability, and infrastructure automation, with improvements benefiting the wider engineering team.

Responsibilities

- Manage and evolve Kubernetes-based production environments. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or comparable tools. - Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting with tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. - Define and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or Pulumi. - Apply security practices across services and deployment pipelines. - Automate recurring operational work to improve team efficiency.

Requirements

- At least four years in DevOps or platform engineering. - Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience. - Experience creating and operating CI/CD pipelines. - Infrastructure-as-code experience; Terraform is preferred. - Familiarity with AWS or GCP services. - Solid understanding of networking, DNS, TLS, and security.

Nice to have

- Experience with a service mesh such as Istio or Linkerd. - Cloud or Kubernetes certifications. - Experience working in a SaaS startup environment.
