Computer Science Internship

Role overview This paid internship gives a current student the chance to contribute production-minded software to product and infrastructure work. You’ll work with engineers on practical tasks, learn through technical reviews, and help build tools and workflows that support delivery of client projects.

Responsibilities - Build or improve product features, internal tools, data workflows, evaluations, or infrastructure. - Work with engineers to scope tasks, weigh technical tradeoffs, implement changes, and deliver working software. - Review AI-generated code critically, test it, and explain how it works. - Write clear code, tests, documentation, and project notes. - Take part in code reviews and present your work, decisions, and learning to the team.

Requirements - Be studying computer science, computer engineering, AI or machine learning, data science, mathematics, or a related technical subject. - Have solid programming fundamentals in at least one general-purpose language. - Be comfortable with data structures, APIs, debugging, version control, and everyday software development practices. - Communicate fluently in written and spoken English and Croatian. - Show evidence of building things through coursework, personal projects, open source, research, hackathons, startup work, or previous internships. - Be able to use AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully for tasks such as prototyping, debugging, refactoring, testing, and understanding unfamiliar code; bring clear communication and good judgment.

Nice to have Experience with TypeScript and React, Python, backend APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, developer tools, language model APIs, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluations, agents, embeddings, or AI products is preferred.

Benefits and work setup The program is remote within Croatia and lasts 10–12 weeks. It includes mentorship from experienced engineers and participation in code reviews, with the possibility of a future full-time role with equity.
