Junior Frontend Engineer

Role overview Help build and improve an international commerce storefront used across several European markets. You’ll create frontend components and smaller API-connected features, with senior developer guidance as you learn the platform and its data model. The work includes supporting localized experiences in eight languages and using AI-assisted tools while taking responsibility for understanding the code you deliver.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain storefront components using Liquid templates, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript. - Develop smaller features that connect to existing commerce APIs, with review and support from a senior developer. - Help maintain frontend behavior and localization across eight languages and multiple markets. - Learn the commerce platform’s data model and use basic SQL for data-related tasks. - Collaborate with developers and teammates within an established sprint process. - Use AI tools to explore code, implement changes, write tests, and check data; explain and own the resulting work.

Requirements - Frontend development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Familiarity with Liquid or a similar templating approach. - Interest in building and improving e-commerce interfaces. - Ability to work with guidance, incorporate code review feedback, and explain your implementation. - Willingness to learn APIs, SQL, and an existing commerce platform.
