Job details
About this role
Role overview Evaluate and improve AI models’ ability to solve software engineering problems in TypeScript. You’ll examine a broad range of coding and systems scenarios, check the accuracy and clarity of model outputs, and document failures so they can inform better prompts and evaluation methods.
Responsibilities - Present models with TypeScript engineering tasks across algorithms, data structures, architecture, and application development. - Evaluate approaches to asynchronous programming, REST API integration, memory management, and object-oriented design. - Review secure coding, infrastructure, systems programming, and distributed-systems debugging scenarios. - Check code for logical accuracy, fluency, quality, and clarity. - Record reproducible errors and suggest improvements to prompts and evaluation metrics.
Requirements - Strong TypeScript coding ability and practical software engineering experience. - Familiarity with several areas such as algorithms, frontend or backend development, cloud infrastructure, or systems programming. - Ability to explain reasoning clearly and show the steps behind technical judgments. - A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred; technical writing or open-source contributions are useful indicators of fit.
Benefits and work setup - Remote contract work, with a stated pay range of $6–$65 per hour; the final rate depends on experience, expertise, and location. - Contractors provide their own secure computer and high-speed internet. Employer-sponsored health insurance and paid time off are not included.
